Cakes

How many slices do you get from the 6"? From the 9"?

Our 6” cake serves 4 to 6 guests. Our 8” cake serves 8-12 guests. Our 9” cake serves 10-14 guests.

Are any of the cakes suitable for children?

Many of our cakes are suitable for children. You may view allergen or dietary restrictions on each item page on our website.

How long can a cake last without refrigeration?

About one hour outside of refrigeration.

Where are your cakes made?

We have two dedicated Lady Wong kitchens in the United States that make our cakes.

Can I freeze my cake?

We do not recommend that you freeze your cake if purchased fresh. If you have purchased any of our cakes for online shipping, we do not recommend defrosting and freezing again - once defrosted, please consume within 2 days.

How do I store my cake?

Please store your cake in your refrigerator. You may store for up to 2 days.

What is the shelf-life of cakes (purchased fresh)?

2 days in the refrigerator.

What is the shelf-life of cakes (purchased frozen)?

You may store a cake that you received frozen for up to 2 months. Please note that once cakes are defrosted, they cannot be re-frozen. Please only defrost when you are ready to enjoy!

How can I order Lady Wong Cakes?

Orders may be placed on www.ladywong.com for US Continental Shipping, Local Boutique Pre-Order Pickup, and Westchester/ Fairfield County Delivery.

How can I access the receipt / invoice from my latest order?

If you have an account with us, you may always log-in on our website to view your recent orders. We email confirmation for all orders placed via our website. If you need a copy, please email us at

Where can I buy slices?

Slices may be purchased at any of our boutique locations.

Can you pre-slice the whole cake?

We are unable to pre-slice whole cakes but if you purchase a whole cake in a boutique, we can, upon request, provide you with a complimentary knife.

Can I cancel my order?

  • Submit your request at info@ladywong.com. We'll confirm through email if changes can be accommodated.
  • Orders are eligible to be cancelled up to 48 hours in advance (for 1 day pre order items).
  • Orders are eligible to be cancelled up to 96 hours in advance (for 2 or 3 days pre order items) of the pickup or ship date before 12 PM local time.
  • Orders cannot be cancelled once the cake has been prepared.
  • All refunds, if applicable, will be provided as store credit via email

Do you have gift cards?

We offer physical gift cards for purchase at our East Village boutique. Gift cards may be ordered in any amount. Gift cards may be used in-person at Lady Wong East Village Boutique only and can be redeemed online.

Can I opt for an inscription?

We do not offer inscriptions on our pre-ordered cakes.

Which credit cards do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards.

Do you have curb-side service?

We’re unable to offer curbside service at this time. We do offer delivery via Doordash, Uber, and Hungry Panda.

Do you have Wi-Fi in boutiques?

We do not offer Wi-Fi at our boutiques.

Can someone else pickup my order?

If someone else will pick up your order, please forward the email confirmation to the person picking up. Please let us know who will be picking up your order and make sure they have proof of ID.

Can I request a frozen cake for pickup?

We can not accommodate these requests at boutiques.

What time are your dine-in service hours?

We close our dine-in service 15 minutes prior to close.

Can I order slices in advance?

We are unable to take slice requests at this time. In-Store slices and petite gateau will be available on a first come, first served basis.

What happens if I don't pick up my order?

Orders not picked up on the scheduled date will be forfeited. We’re unable to refund orders that were not picked up. (Items will be discarded at the end of the day).

Do you take reservations?

We do not take dine-in reservations.

How can I see which whole cakes are only available at boutiques?

We have limited selection on Thur, Fri, Sat and Sun. We strongly recommend pre-ordering online before visiting.

Can I walk in and purchase directly from Lady Wong Boutiques?

You can walk in before 3pm for a limited selection on Thur, Fri, Sat and Sun. For specific preferences, we strongly recommend pre-ordering online before visiting.

How far in advance do I need to place an order?

You may place an order up to 30 days in advance. We need at least 1 days notice for whole cakes, 3 days notice for party platters prior to 2PM weekdays, 12PM Saturday for all pre-orders.

Do you have gift wrap?

We do not offer gift wrap.

Do you have parking?

We have street parking at East Village location. Parking Garages at Mid town location.

US Shipping

Which carrier do you use for shipping?

We use FedEx.

What do I do if I can't find my package that is marked delivered?

Please contact us as soon as possible so that we can help locate your package for you.

How do I track my order?

We email shipment notification containing the FedEx tracking number 1 to 2 days prior to shipment.

Do you require a signature for delivery?

We do not require a signature.

What time will my package be delivered?

Packages are delivered anytime throughout the day.

How are the cakes shipped?

Our cakes are shipped blast frozen, with dry ice and safely placed into a custom insulated bag.

Where do you ship to?

We ship throughout the continental US.

What do I do if my shipping address is wrong?

Please contact us as soon as possible. Once your order has shipped, we’re unable to change the shipping address.

Can I ship to multiple addresses?

Please place multiple orders if you require cakes going to more than one location.

How far in advance do I need to place an order?

We need at least 5 days notice for orders placed for US Shipping. We recommend selecting a delivery date 5 to 7 days in advance of when you plan to eat the cake.

Manhattan Delivery

Do you provide delivery from Lady Wong boutiques?

We don't provide direct delivery from Lady Wong boutiques. If you need delivery, consider using a third-party service. Remember to order a car (not a motorbike) and inform the driver of your order number and name.

Important: Cakes need to be transported on a flat surface with the AC on high.

We’ve partnered with Doordash, Urber Eat and Hungry Panda to offer limited selections for delivery in Manhattan.

Westchester / Fairfield County CT Delivery

Do you deliver to all parts of Westchester and Connecticut?

Unfortunately no. Currently, we could only delivers to some areas in Westchester County and Fairfield County.

How long does it take before my order is delivered?

On each product page, we will show you the required lead time for each cake. We also have a Delivery Calendar displayed on checkout page to let you pick your preferred delivery date & time.

Disclaimer:

1.      We aim to deliver within your chosen time slot but can't guarantee exact arrival times.

2.      For high-rise buildings, pick up your order at ground floor/lobby areas.

3.      Time slots provided don't indicate actual operating hours; refer to specific location hours for earliest/latest pickups.

How much is delivery?

Delivery fee is being calculated based on the destination of delivery, it starts from $18 up to $48 it will be calculated at the point of checkout.

However, in any event delivery be attempted to the specified destination and no one happens to be present at the time of delivery nor respond to the calls or messages, an additional fee will be charged for re-delivery.

•       Delivery: An email with the driver’s details will be sent to you when your order is sent out for delivery / before your chosen time slot.

•       Pickup: A ready-to-collect email notification will be sent.

How do I track my delivery?

You'll receive an email with the driver's details before your selected time slot on the delivery day. This email is sent as soon as we assign a driver to your order.

Can you deliver my order at a specific time?

We offer delivery in the following time slots: 10am-1pm, 1-3pm, 3-5pm, or 5-7pm.

While we aim to deliver your order within your chosen time slot, we cannot commit to a specific time within that slot due to factors like traffic and route planning.

Do you deliver to units or inside malls/hotels/restaurants?

We don't deliver directly to high-rise units or inside malls; cakes are given at the lobby or drop-off.

For hotels or landed restaurants, we deliver to the reception if reservation details are provided.

Can I change the delivery address after placing an order?

Please contact us as soon as possible.

Addresses changes are eligible to be changed up to 3 days in advance of the delivery date before 12PM local time. Once your order has picked up by third party driver, we’re unable to change the delivering address.

Allergens and Dietary Restrictions

How can I see the allergens / dietary restrictions for each cake?

Each individual product page lists allergens and dietary restrictions for that particular cake. We recommend finding the cake you’re interested in on our website and making sure it doesn’t contain your allergies or dietary restrictions.

Are your cakes kosher?

Our cakes are not kosher.

Do you have gluten-free cakes?

We do not offer gluten-free mousse cakes at this time. Some of our traditional cakes kuihs are gluten-free.

Do you have dairy-free cakes?

We do not offer dairy-free mousse cakes at this time. All our traditional kuihs are dairy-free.

Do you have vegan cakes?

We do not offer vegan mousse cakes at this time. Some of our traditional kuihs are vegan

Do you have sugar-free cakes?

Refunds

Are orders refundable?

All orders are non-refundable. However, in specific circumstances like order amendments, refunds will be provided in the form of store credit sent to your email. This credit is valid for 1 year and can be used for multiple purchases within its validity.

  • Item Not in Good Condition: Should your items arrive in less than perfect condition (e.g., melted, broken, defective), contact us within 2 hours of receiving them. Include a clear picture or video illustrating the issue and email it to info@ladywong.com
  • Received the Wrong Items: In the unlikely event that you receive an incorrect order, notify us within 2 hours. Provide a clear picture of the incorrect items alongside your order number. The items should be unconsumed and in the condition, they were received to qualify for a refund or replacement.
